Well, by us, I mean me! I’m Mark, late 20s teacher from just outside Glasgow, Scotland who has been blessed with a fantastic Disney life. I’ve been a Disney fan since well before the age of five when I was first introduced to the movies through those beautiful VHS tape boxes. I remember being given stacks and stacks of them, the first of which I remember being The Little Mermaid. The story, the images and the songs got me hooked long before I realised who the Mouse – In – Chief was.
It wouldn’t be long after this that I would start visiting the parks at least once and sometimes twice a year. Like I said, I was fortunate and wonderfully blessed with amazing parents who shared and encouraged this developing passion of mine. All in all, between all the visits to Walt Disney World, Disneyland and Disneyland Paris. I plan to one day, have visited all Disney Parks worldwide. There are also very few Disney movies I can say I haven’t seen.
As for the Parks, I would like to think of myself as pretty knowledgeable about things, and, having only been at the busier time of years, know how to navigate my way around and make the most of my time in the parks. My next trip though will be the first time staying on property, and I look forward to sharing my choosing and booking experiences with you. I have stayed at a Disney hotel though, Vero Beach is an amazing location that I have many fond memories of. Watching baby turtles hatch and wander to the sea at night as people protect them on the way will always be very special.
Why blog though? Disney in all it’s various forms runs through my veins. I’ve always tried blogging, podcasting and numerous other media projects that covered a vast array of things, yet my focus still came back to the mouse. It was about time I did something that made me happy. Writing and Disney, how could I go wrong? While I’ve been getting this up off the ground, finding my specific voice and slant on Disney, I have never been happier.
